Culture media in vials, for membrane filtration technique.

Use

Open premarked ampoule/vial and pull content on the pad located on the Petri dish. The membrane must be withdrawn from the filtration panel with sterile (flamed) membranes forceps and placed over the pad with the media, making sure no air bubbles are trapped between membrane and pad.
Incubate 24 to 72 hours, at the required temperature according to media involved.
During incubation, nutrients of the media migrate by capillarity to the membranes surface nourishing microorganism and developing colonies which can then be evaluated.
The ampoules can be stored from 12 to 18 months at temperatures between 2°C and 40°C.
