Characteristics
The system includes the membrane and a cellulose pad that help support the membrane during filtration process, preventing them from being broken. Pad is also support for liquid media after filtration.
It converts into a petri dish which allows direct incubation.
System is sterilized by gamma radiation and disposable eliminating all previous sterilization steps of the traditional membrane filtration technique.
The sterile disposable filtration units reduces about 70% of the time requiered with the traditional method.
The option with a not welded membrane allows, after incubation with the specific liquid media, to remove the membrane and preserve the analysis result in the lab log book.
