Quantitative Filter Paper

Microclar Quantitative Filter Paper has been developed for use in techniques to measure particles suspended in a liquid. They have a very low ash content and have a very high mechanical strength when wet. They are manufactured using reverse osmosis water and treated with dilute acids to remove any organic and inorganic impurities.

CN-540

Ideal for quantitative analysis in general and gravimetric determinations that require fast filtration rate. Quantitative analysis in general and gravimetric determinations that require fast rate of filtration. It is also frequently used as a filter for filtering high purity quick trace elements such as silver chromate, lead sulfate and zinc and aluminum hydroxide, sulfides and rapid analysis of silicones. In soil analysis finds application to separate solid and aqueous extracts. It is recommended as an alternative the S&S 589/2 paper (banda blanca), Whatman 40 or Macherey-Nagel 640m.

CN-541

Is the line of filter paper recommended for analytical procedures with thick or flocculent precipitate particles or gelatinous. Quantitative analysis in general and especially in gravimetric determinations or gelatinous, flocculent precipitate as hydroxides of iron, zirconium, aluminum and cobalt sulfide. It also can be used in air pollution controls for determining gaseous compounds. Its use is recommended for rapid analytical procedures such as silicon precipitates unstable. Other applications include the analysis of bauxite, alkali metal enamels and varnishes and paper analysis. It is recommended as an alternative paper application to S&S 589 / 1 (black band), Whatman 41 or Macherey-Nagel 640W.

CN-542

The line most suitable for measurements of very fine particle precipitates. Especially for gravimetric determinations of very fine particles precipitated as barium sulfate and lead oxide, copper, zinc or nickel sulfate, oxalate and calcium fluoride. Specifically for quantitative determinations of alkali metals in glazes and varnishes, stains determinations of tests (test strips) and fine crystals of sulfates. It is recommended as an alternative paper application to S&S 589 / 3 (blue band), Whatman 42 or Macherey-Nagel 640D.

CN544

The CN-544 line possesses characteristics similar to the CN-542 but with higher filtration rate. Quantitative analysis in general, especially in gravimetric determinations precipitated as barium sulfate (hot), barium chromate or calcium oxalate. It is recommended as an alternative paper application to S&S 589/5 (red band), Whatman 44 or Macherey-Nagel 640md.
